We revisit Led Zeppelin’s 9/28/71 Osaka legendary show with a glorious stereo remaster by North Bridge. Wide stereo soundstage and impressive instrument separation make this star shine even brighter. Amazing. It sounds even better than the awesome EVSD release.

We hear a NEW SOURCE for 8/21/71 and it sounds way better. Only the first 4 songs were taped before getting caught, but we hear ’em. Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, SIBLY, & Black Dog all better than before. Super cool.

We listen to an improved source for 9/11/71 which is when Led Zeppelin played Rochester, NY. This is a great show from a time when the band was a force of nature. We hear Whole Lotta Love (with killer SLIDE solo in the medleys) and Thank You with organ solo. You’ll love this.

Led Zeppelin played New York City on Sept. 3, 1971 and the crowd was wild! So wild they stormed the stage and it collapsed. This is a tape in which the crowd at times is louder than the band, but the show itself is amazing. This is a vastly underrated Zep show. Jimmy’s playing has an edge I’d not heard before.

We hear the ultra rare Gallows Pole, as well as brand new numbers Black Dog, Rock and Roll, plus a rollicking Whole Lotta Love, and Eddie Cochran’s Weekend. Top notch, folks.

We listen to the opening night (Sept 23, 1971) of Led Zeppelin’s first Japanese Tour, and it’s brilliant. They’re eager to show the audience why they’re the best band ever, and they succeed. We listen to a pristine Since I’ve Been Loving You, and a rapturous Whole Lotta Love with complete performances of Good Times, Bad Times, How Many More Times, You Shook Me, as well as tons of rock songs in the medley. It’s arguably the best Whole Lotta Love ever.
