Ep. 139 – The Heart of Markness Led Zeppelin Podcast: April 30, 1977

RIP Richard Cole.
We listen to an upgraded source of April 30, 1977 at the Pontiac Silverdome. This is a much better source and a great show. We hear an awesome No Quarter and Achilles. 76,000 people were there. Amazing.

The band is taking this gig seriously, with a vibe that reminds me of the professionalism of Copenhagen 1979. Jimmy is on point!

Ep. 137 & 138 – The Heart of Markness Led Zeppelin Podcast

We listen to an excellent multitrack recording from Jan. 22, 1973 in Southampton UK. We hear a raucous Whole Lotta Love w/ medleys, Thank You with mellotron, and for the 1st time since 1970, How Many More Times. Super duper cool.

January 22, 1973 is revisited and we hear Since I’ve Been Loving You, Dancing Days, and The Rain Song. A really good gig even with Robert’s flu voice. A great laid back concert.
